Fat Trel and Kulture Release Video For Back Home
Born in Pakistan, raised in San Jose and currently residing in the DMV, Kulture really has meaning behind his name. At age two Ali’s father was murdered at the hands of the Taliban in his native country. Moving to California at the age of 5, Ali learned to adapt amidst violence and turmoil on the south side of San Jose. At the age of 15 Ali moved to Falls Church, VA and moved numerous times throughout Northern Virginia learning the realities of a single parent household. Being the man of the household, Ali conquered academia, social life and as an entrepreneurship.
The name “Kulture” was given birth to embody unity, brotherhood and appreciation for each other’s heritage and background. Ali has been turning heads for quite some time now with his witty lyrics, brash delivery and unique rhyme patterns. Life is a test of will and Ali has an uncanny ability of capturing moments in his life with his music. The recent momentum of hip hop in the Washington Metropolitan area has created a great arena for talent to shine and Ali Kulture has been turning heads consistently. Lyrics without substance are a facade and Ali puts soul into what he speaks.
Ali has collaborated with Fat Trel [MMG], Berner [Taylor Gang], Project Pat, Jay Sean and many more. He has opened shows for everyone from Bone Thugz n Harmony, Naughty by Nature, Freeway, Cassidy, Akon, Lloyd Banks, Joe Budden, Slaughterhouse just to name a few.
